She is a Cleveland State University graduate and award-winning and regional Emmy-nominated writer who has been published in Echoes Magazine\, the News-Herald and Lake Erie Living\, among others. She was a reporter at CBS stations\, in Toledo\, Ohio\, and Erie\, Pennsylvania\, and has written and coproduced historical documentaries aired on PBS.
