This year for Christmas\, we’re giving you a gift: Buddy is back! CVLT presents this encore production with many of the cast returning\, including John Kolar in the title role. \nAdapted from one of the most beloved modern Christmas movies\, “Elf the Musical” transforms the story (originally a vehicle for actor Will Farrell) into a theatrical holiday treat for the whole family. “Elf” features songs by the Tony Award nominated Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway\, The Wedding Singer) and a script by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan (Annie\, The Producers\, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone). The New York Times called it “splashy\, peppy\, sugar-sprinkled holiday entertainment!” and Variety said “ELF is happy enough for families\, savvy enough for city kids and plenty smart for adults!” \nChagrin Valley Little Theatre’s production runs weekends from November 17 through December 17\, with performances on Fridays\, Saturdays and select Sundays. Evening performances begin at 7:30 PM on Fridays Nov. 17 & 24\, Dec. 1\, 8 & 15 as well as Saturdays Nov. 25\, & Dec. 9. DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Will Craig \nAttending the Bainbridge Swing Dance is participating in an exhilarating era.  With youthful energy\, spectators\, experienced and non-experienced dancers move their feet to the best live bands in the business.  Bands that specialize in swing dance tempos\, sound\, and style.  It’s really a happening place.  An absolute “must do”. \nThis public\, family-friendly event is open to all ages and skill levels. No partner is required for the lesson or the dance.  The Bainbridge Swing Dance has an exceptionally welcoming atmosphere. Proven in its two decades of dancing with many people attending.  It’s one great time.​ \nSwing dance the night away.  A different live band performs the first Saturday of every month at Family Life Center (16349 Chillicothe Road (Route 306) in Chagrin Falls\, OH 44023). The Swing Dance\, with live band performance\, begins at 9:00 p.m. Preceded by a one hour swing dance lesson at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:30pm. DESCRIPTION:In 2022\, CVLT broke box office records by selling out the entire run of “Elf\, the Musical” before the curtain had risen on opening night! Audiences raved\, but many were disappointed at being unable to get a ticket. This year for Christmas\, we’re giving you a gift: Buddy is back! CVLT presents this encore production with many of the cast returning\, including John Kolar in the title role. \nAdapted from one of the most beloved modern Christmas movies\, “Elf the Musical” transforms the story (originally a vehicle for actor Will Farrell) into a theatrical holiday treat for the whole family. “Elf” features songs by the Tony Award nominated Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway\, The Wedding Singer) and a script by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan (Annie\, The Producers\, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone). The New York Times called it “splashy\, peppy\, sugar-sprinkled holiday entertainment!” and Variety said “ELF is happy enough for families\, savvy enough for city kids and plenty smart for adults!” \nChagrin Valley Little Theatre’s production runs weekends from November 17 through December 17\, with performances on Fridays\, Saturdays and select Sundays. Evening performances begin at 7:30 PM on Fridays Nov. 17 & 24\, Dec. 1\, 8 & 15 as well as Saturdays Nov. 25\, & Dec. 9. Matinees at 2 PM on Saturdays Nov. 18\, Dec. 2 & 16\, and Sundays Nov. 26\, Dec. 3\, 10\, & 17. Tickets are $21 with a $4 discount for students\, seniors\, and military. Advance reservations and early arrival are highly recommended\, as sellouts are anticipated once again! \nNOVEMBER 26 – FRIENDS OF WOMENSAFE SPONSORED PERFORMANCE\nJunction Auto Family is sponsoring the 11/26 performance as a fundraiser for Friends of WomenSafe.
